A funeral Mass for Margaret Durante, 88, a 27-year resident of Carson City will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. A rosary will be said at 10:15 a.m., preceded by visitation from 9-10:15 a.m. at the church.
Ms. Durante died Dec. 10, 2006, in Carson City. She was born Oct. 20, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Angelo and Vincenza Durante.
She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Among her survivors are her sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and Tony Policastro of Palm Harbor, Fla., sister Julie Cabriele of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Entombment will be in Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
