Sheriff's Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• An 18-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 11:18 p.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $2,132.

• A 23-year-old machine operator from Carson City was arrested at 12:21 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Siskiyou Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 4:36 a.m. and at 9:49 a.m.

• Welfare check at 11:23 a.m. in the 500 block of South Roop Street.

• Vehicle burglary report in the 1100 block of North Saliman Road at 2:12 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 9:33 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Commercial burglary on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 7:31 a.m.

• Battery report at Fernley High School at 2:06 p.m.

• Reported gas leak on Pinto Drive in Mason Valley at 4:17 p.m.

• Fire call on Oxbow Ranch in Mason Valley at 4:59 p.m.

• Residential burglary report in Fernley at 6:37 p.m.

• Home invasion report in the 400 block of Willow Way in Fernley at 8:01 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• A report of a fight on Wild Horse Canyon Drive at 5:50 a.m. An arrest was made.

• Traffic citation on North C Street at 7:25 a.m.
