The Carson High freshmen boys basketball team (3-1) couldn't quite overcome a 28-14 halftime deficit at the State Farm Tournament.
Uriel Duran scored 13 points and Beau Bickel added 12 points. Ian Gunn had a strong all-around game with several assists and steals and Josh Peacock also played well defensively. Carson will continue play at 5:30 p.m. today at Damonte Ranch.
