Ethel Anderson Druley

Ethel Anderson Druley, 96, a Carson City resident since 1969, died Dec. 28, 2006, in Carson City.

Mrs. Druley was born Aug. 29, 1910, in St. Cloud, Minn., to John and Nellie Anderson.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Druley lived in Monterey, Calif.

She held a degree in education from St. Cloud Teachers College, and taught school for 41 years in Minnesota, California and Nevada, including five years at Fritsch Elementary School in Carson City.

She received a PTA Life Membership when she retired.

Mrs. Druley was Lutheran.

She was preceded in death by her husband June 14, 1990; by sister Alice Jenkins of New Mexico; and by brothers Alvin Anderson of Maryland and Vernon Anderson of Florida.

She is survived by her son, Carl Druley of Carson City.

Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
