Galena girls advance to semifinals

GALENA GIRLS 2-0

Galena finished pool play at the Centennial Tournament with a 4-0 record as it beat Valley 72-40 and Foothill 47-26.

Against Valley, Colleen Kern scored 14 points, Amy Scott had 13 points, Hayley Jensen had 11 points and Langley Iverson and Shelby Winters each added 10 ponts. Against Fallon, Iverson scored 13 points and Scott added 11 points.

Galena advanced to today's semifinals where it will play either Durango or Elko. With a win, The Grizzlies would advance to the finals also today.
