Billie G. Baker

Billie G. Baker, 94, of Carson City, died Feb. 10, 2006, in Carson City.

She was born June 21, 1931, in Philip, S,D., to Jess Baker and Elsie Garrett.

Prior to moving to Carson City, she lived in Lake Tahoe.

She graduated from a teacher's college. She was an elementary school teacher for two years then served with Food Services until her retirement in 1976.

Among her survivors are her nieces Marcia Eymer of South Dakota and Dorie Velder of Colorado; and nephew Jim Baker of Washington.

At her request, no services will be held.

Cremation took place at FitzHenry's Crematory. Inurnment will take place in South Dakota.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Family, 1201 N. Saliman Road.
