The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 24-year-old retail worker from Carson City was arrested at 7:12 a.m. Wednesday at College Parkway and Lompa Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court, failure to use due care and driving without insurance. Bail was set at $1,329.


• A 25-year-old unemployed Tustin, Calif., man was arrested at 3:08 a.m. Thursday on Highway 50 West at the Carson City county line on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.


• A 37-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $1,000.


• A 23-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday in the 4700 block of Snyder Avenue on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


-- The following are some of the 226 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• A father reported at 3:18 p.m. his 14-year-old child was shoved by a classmate's mother near Seeliger Elementary on Monday.


• A man on North Carson Street reported at 4:52 p.m. his neighbor shoved him.


• A window at the Carson City Shell in the 1600 block of North Carson Street was shot out at 5:16 p.m.


• A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 9:32 p.m.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 88 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Felony arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 4:51 a.m. following the report of drug possession.


• Accident on Spruce Street in Silver Springs at 7:18 a.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 3700 block of Birch Street in Silver Springs at 7:41 a.m.


• Injury to motor vehicle report in the 300 block of Vine Street in Fernley at 8:03 a.m.


• Commercial burglary report on West Newlands Avenue at the Super 8 Motel at 9:03 a.m. in Fernley.


• Accident on Highway 208 in Smith Valley at 10:27 a.m.


• Property damage report at the Macatee Building in Silver Springs at 7:07 p.m.


• Accident on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 8:58 p.m.


• Accident at Highway 50 East and Stagecoach Road in Silver Springs at 11:56 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the 19 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Smoke was reported on Mary Lane at 6:52 a.m. Deputies were unable to locate.


• A probationer who was to work 45 hours of community service, worked two on Sunday and then walked away from his duties. His probation was violated.


• A business on USA Parkway was reported burglarized at 9:16 a.m. Two computers and food was taken from one building. Two other buildings appeared to have been entered. The Washoe County Crime Lab was called out to help gather evidence.


The following are some of the 21 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• A caller reported large Rottweiler was loose on South C Street at 8:08 a.m. and there were children nearby. Deputies were unable to find the dog.


• A woman was seen driving 70 mph on State Route 341 by another driver at 9:05 a.m.


• A large spool of wire, thousands of dollars and a video projector were reported stolen from a business in the 3000 block of Waltham Way at 2:33 p.m.


• Items were stolen from a Amsterdam Court business sometime over the weekend.


• A driver was given a citation at 6:29 p.m. on Six Mile Canyon Road.


• Juveniles on skateboards were making "a lot of noise," at the baseball field at 7:34 p.m. The teens were gone when deputies arrived.


• A mother reported at 9:26 p.m. her 14-year-old son was receiving threatening phone calls.


• An alarm went off at Virginia City High School at 1:52 a.m. Property checked "OK."
