A memorial service for Eric Thompson, 18, a lifelong Carson City resident, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. There will be a reception following at 1 p.m. at the Genoa Lakes Resort Supper Club. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday at Walton's.
Mr. Thompson died Feb. 16, 2006, in an automobile accident in Carson City.
He was born Nov. 6, 1987, in Reno to Bill and Kathy Thompson.
Mr. Thompson was attending Western Nevada Community College.
He owned ET's Mobile Wash & Detail.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, spending time with his friends and family, and spending time with his golden retriever, Buddy.
Among his survivors are his parents of Carson City; sister Kristen Thompson of Carson City; and Grandma Dorothy and Grandma Stewart.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
