Foie "Katie" Kimball, 71, a 15-year Carson City resident, died Feb. 27, 2006, in Reno.
Ms. Kimball was born June 20, 1934, in Sebastopol, Calif., to George and Rowena Strout.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Santa Rosa, Calif.
She earned a bachelor's degree in business and was a Salvation Army Sunday school leader.
She was preceded death by her brothers Keith Kimball and Harry Kimball.
Among her survivors are her children Peggy Shuster of Carson City, Judy Carrillo of Santa Rosa, William Blackburn of Kelseyville, Calif., Dana Mesmer of Washington, Frank Shuster of Nice, Calif., and Danny Shuster of Washington; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Walton Funeral Home of Reno is in charge of arrangements.
