Joseph "Roger" Belleville, 79, of Silver Springs, died Jan. 8, 2006, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno.
Mr. Belleville was born May 14, 1926, in Lowell, Mass., to Cecile Belleville, and was raised with his brother, Robert.
He lived for several years in Detroit, Mich., before moving to Lake Tahoe, then settling in Silver Springs.
He retired from the Nevada Department of Prisons as a captain after 17 years of service.
Mr. Belleville served in U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Belleville, in 1988.
Among his survivors are his wife, Shirley; daughter, Peggy; son, William; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
