Elma M. Newhard, 89, of Carson City died Jan. 18, 2006, at her home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1916, in West Springfield, Pa., to Victor and Elizabeth Tuuri Jarvi.
Among her survivors are her sister, Eleanor Heine, of Carson City and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Ind.
No memorial service will be held at her request.
D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, Ind., is in charge of arrangements.
