Carson inline beats Manogue

The Carson Senator inline hockey team beat Manogue 11-1 on Saturday at the Pony Express Pavilion.

Ryan Dwyer had six goals and three assists, Jake Echeverria had two goals and four assists, John Jewell had two goals and two assists, Austin Bartosz scored once, Bud Kop and Harris Heller each added two assists and Eric Hastings, Tyler Law, Leann Aglietti and Chris Geiser all had one assist. Goalie Richie Copeland faced 19 shots and made 18 saves.

The Carson junior varsity blue team settled for a 5-5 tie with Elko. Jeremy Comba had a hat trick with three goals and Keaton Massey and Luke Echeverria each scored once. Massey and Tyler Jost each had two assists and Taylor Phillips, Conner Long and Jessica Bird each added an assist. Carson goalie Seth Hartley faced 30 shots and made 25 saves.

The Carson JV white team won two games on Sunday, beating Fallon's JVs 10-1 and Douglas 9-3. Tony Mariskanish had a hat trick with three goals and four assists. Brian Skach also had a hat trick with three goals and Tim Jost scored four goals. James Woodmancy, Alex Kaskie and Josh Tucker each added an assist. Hartley faced 25 shots and made 24 saves.

Against Douglas, Mariskanish had another hat trick, scoring three goals, while Alex Kasie and Jost each scored twice, Luke Gentner had one goal and three assists and Skach had a goal and an assist. Hartley faced 32 shots and made 29 saves.

On Saturday, Carson's varsity will play Bishop, Calif., at 11 a.m., Carson's blue JVs will play Reed at noon and Carson's white JVs will face Reed at 2 p.m.
