A memorial service for Adelaide Williams, 83, a 10-year Dayton resident, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Williams died June 25, 2006, in Dayton. She was born April 3, 1923, in Omaha, Neb., to Torrey F. Bryant and Norma G. Birch.

She married Robert "Bob" Williams on Oct. 17, 1943, in Oakland, Calif.

Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Arnold, Calif., for more than 20 years.

She was a high school graduate and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Dayton Valley Community Church in Dayton, the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, the Independence Hall Quilters Association of Arnold and a former member and president of the Knights of Pythias in Oakland, Calif.

Among her survivors are her husband of Dayton; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Robin Bryant Williams of Murphys, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Jim Walsh of Stagecoach; sister ,Marlynn Blake of Hathaway Pines, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Memorial donations may be made to the Dayton Valley Community Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1746, Dayton, NV 89403.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
