John Carmelo Morales, 78, a 54-year Carson City resident, died July 7, 2006, in Carson City.
Mr. Morales was born Dec. 15, 1927, in San Francisco to Carmelo Morales and May Constantino.
Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Morales lived in San Francisco.
He was a journeyman meat cutter and served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife of 57 years, May Morales of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law, John and Paula Morales of Sunnyvale, Calif.; daughter, Donna Marie Garner of Carson City; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
