Sheriffs' log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Linda Cervantes, 28, of Carson City, was arrested at 1:43 a.m. Saturday at Reeves and Brown streets on suspicion of felony violation of probation and misdemeanor contempt of court. No bail was set.

• Donnie Rhea, 36, transient, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. Friday at Airport Road and Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony driving under the influence third offense, gross misdemeanor battery on a peace officer and misdemeanor no valid driver's license and impeding traffic.

• A 19-year-old inserter from Minden was arrested at 5:15 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $1,000 cash.

Storey County

The following are some of the 35 calls to which deputies responded:

• A traffic accident on State Route 341 in the Virginia City Highlands at 2:52 p.m. Friday.

• A noise complaint involving firearms in the 100 block of South C Street in Virginia City at 3:40 p.m. Friday.

• A report of a driver tailgating and making offensive gestures on Geiger Grade at 7:39 p.m. Friday.
