Barbara McGehee

A memorial service for Barbara McGehee, 66, a Palm Desert, Calif., resident since 1971, will be 11 a.m. today at Desert Chapel in Palm Springs, Calif.

Mrs. McGehee died July 13, 2006, in Rancho Mirage, Calif. She was born April 2, 1940, in Long Beach, Calif., to George Brothers and Dora Rogers.

Mrs. McGehee married Michael McGehee on June 15, 1957, in Abilene, Texas.

Before moving to Palm Desert, Mrs. McGehee lived in Carson City for seven years. She was a homemaker.

Among her survivors are her husband of Palm Desert; daughters Connie McBride of Palm Desert and Cidy Flanagan of Palm Springs; son, Daniel McGehee of Grant, Mich.; brother, Walt Brothers of Lancaster, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Forest Lawn Mortuary of Cathedral City, Calif., is in charge of arrangements.
