He was vice chairman of the Growth Coordination Committee for the City of Henderson and served on the Henderson Redevelopment Advisory Commission.

Religious or civic organizations you belong to: Past president of The Jewish Federation of Las Vegas and is in his second term as a member of the Board of Directors of St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation.

Reason for running: As chairman of Nevada's Commission on Tourism, I intend to work with all of our emergency response agencies and personnel and our business community to become "the safest state." I will work with our community and religious organizations to provide real training to all of us. We have the expertise in place to properly plan for emergencies. I believe Nevadans have the will to become "the safest state."

Security will become an enormous industry and we, Nevada, should lead the nation. I will lead a coordinated effort to attract new companies in this field to Nevada.
