Paul Rolland Mumford

Paul Rolland Mumford, 82, a 16-year Carson City resident, died July 20, 2006 in Carson City.

Mr. Mumford was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Akron, Ohio to Rolland John and Ida May Mumford.

He attended high school in Tallmadge, Ohio, and was a real estate broker until his retirement in 1985.

Prior to living in Carson City, Mr. Mumford lived in Grass Valley, Calif.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1941-1960 and spent time in the European Theaters of war during World War II.

Among his survivors are his wife, Jeanette Mumford, of Carson City; son, Paul E. Mumford, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of Corvallis, Ore.

Northern Nevada Memorial Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
