Marcia Mae Samuelsen

Marcia Mae Samuelsen, 80, a three-year Eugene, Ore., resident, died July 8, 2006, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene.

Mrs. Samuelsen was born Feb. 24, 1926, in Ontario, Canada, to Walter Geldert and Margaret Trickle.

Before moving to Eugene, Mrs. Samuelsen lived in Carson City for many years.

She was a bookkeeper, an artist and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by brother, Walter Geldert.

Among her survivors are her sons Scott Samuelsen of Spring Creek and Eric Samuelsen of Reedsport, Ore.; daughter Lisa Taylor of Coos Bay, Ore.; and sister Sallie Anderson of Eugene.

Andreason's Cremation and Burial Service in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
