A funeral service for Pauline Marie Menesini Charlebois, 85, a 32-year Gardnerville resident, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Carson Valley United Methodist, 1375 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville.

A viewing will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Walton's Douglas County Mortuary.

Mrs. Charlebois died May 31, 2006, at her home. She was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Yerington to Giulio and Margarite Venturi Menesini, immigrants from Italy.

She graduated from Yerington High School and continued her education at Western Business School in Sacramento.

She married Ray Charlebois on June 1, 1941.

She served on the election board for many years, was a docent for the Douglas County Historical Society, belonged to the Order of Eastern Star, Homemakers, Beta Sigma Phi, the Cowbelles, two bridge clubs and Western Nevada Cattlewomen.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; brothers Hugo and Dave Menesini; and by sister Lena Menesini Rosaschi.

Among her survivors are sons and daughters in-law Russ and JoAnne Charlebois of San Jose, Calif., and Ron and Linda Charlebois of Reno; sister-in-law Isabelle Menesini; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, three nieces and one nephew.
