A celebration of life for Mary Radley, 89, a five-year resident of Gardnerville will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Gall Catholic Church. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at Walton's Douglas County Mortuary and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Gall Catholic Church.

Mrs. Radley died Aug. 19, 2007, in Gardnerville. She was born Dec. 8, 1917 to Ben and Kristina Streifel in Karlsruhe, N.D. She married Veryl Radley on Oct. 4, 1941, in Devils Lake, N.D.

She lived in North Dakota 24 years before moving to California in 1941.

She was a volunteer at Victor Valley Hospital. She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church and attended High Sierra Fellowship in Gardnerville.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Among her survivors are daughters and sons-in-law Jeanette and Joe Frazier of Victorville, Calif., Betty and Michael Hendon and Pat and Milt Simmons, all of Gardnerville; sisters Mac Solem of Devils Lake, Rose Ooley of Seal Beach, Calif.; and Emily Kambeitz of Burnsville, Minn.; 13 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
