Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 44-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 9:03 p.m. Saturday in the 4100 block of Sherman Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $369.

• Karl James Thoeni, 37, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:43 p.m. Sunday in the 3100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and felony parole violation. No bail was set.

The following are some of the more than 300 calls to which deputies responded Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

• A pool employee reported he was hit and pushed down by a man at 12:52 p.m. Friday at Mills Park.

• A woman on Condor Circle reported Friday at 3:42 p.m. that an unknown man called her son over to his vehicle, and when the boy refused, the man threw a large rock at the boy, causing the boy to run into a vehicle.

• Battery report in the 1900 block of North Carson Street at 12:03 p.m. Friday.

• A residential burglary report in the 3400 block of Woodside Drive at 12:46 p.m. Friday.

• A business owner reported a company vehicle was overdue by four hours, and the driver could not be contacted at 7:52 p.m. Friday in the 5500 block of Highway 50 East.

• A man was injured during a fight between 20 people in the 1900 block of North Carson Street at 11:54 p.m. Friday.

• A man was arrested for stealing a wallet from a casino patron in the 3800 block of South Carson Street at 2:40 a.m.

• A vehicle burglary report in the 500 block of Country Village Drive at 11:15 a.m. Saturday.

• An airbag compressor was stolen from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Sheffield Drive on Saturday night.

• A report of a fight in the 1400 block of Siskiyou Drive at 7:37 a.m. "Negative drinking, they woke up on the wrong side of the bed."

• A 1996 blue Suzuki Esteem wagon was reported stolen at 2:40 p.m. Sunday form the 200 block of South Harbin Street.

• Graffiti at Highway 50 East and Airport Road at 5:09 p.m. Sunday.

• A report of parents using methamphetamine in front of their 3-year-old child in the 1600 block of Brown Street at 5:10 p.m. An arrest was made.

• A report of a storage shed burglarized in the 1500 block of East Fifth Street at 1:50 a.m. Monday.

Lyon County

The following are some of the 93 calls to which deputies responded:

• Grand larceny report in the 500 block of Wedge Lane in Fernley at 10:40 a.m.

• Accident at Highway 50 East in Stagecoach at 11:19 a.m.

• Fire on Hill View Court in Dayton Valley at 1:29 p.m.

• Fire in the 600 block of South Center Street in Yerington at 1:48 p.m.

• Harassment 3700 block of Amber Street in Silver Springs at 5:58 p.m.

• Misdemeanor drunken driving arrest in the 3700 block of Amber Street at 6:28 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the 15 calls to which deputies responded:

• A report of a snake in a backyard pool on Canyon Way at 5:25 p.m.

• A report of kids playing around a mine shaft on South Q Street at 7:22 p.m.
