The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 47-year-old unemployed man from Carson City was arrested at 6:15 p.m. Friday on the 1800 block of College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $4,132.


• Jarrod Hayes, 37, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:07 p.m. Friday at Carson and Long streets on suspicion of felony violation of probation. No bail was set.


• An 18-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 6:52 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of David Street on suspicion of misdemeanor reckless driving with wanton disregard for safety, no valid driver's license, no proof of insurance and no safety belt. Bail was set at $1,618.


• A 23-year-old contractor from Zephyr Cove, Calif., was arrested at 10:36 p.m. Friday at Telegraph and Curry streets on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container, failure to maintain a single travel lane and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $4,815.


• A 38-year-old cook from Carson City was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Friday at North Fall and Adams streets on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $500 cash.


• A 40-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 6:10 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and riding a bike on a sidewalk. Bail was set at $1,199.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 130 calls to which deputies responded:


• A drunk driver in the 60 block of Mason Road in Mason Valley at 2:33 p.m. Friday.


• A commercial burglary in the 300 block of Industrial Drive in Fernley at 12:58 p.m. Friday.


• A hit-and-run accident in the 3500 block of Graham Road in Silver Springs at 3:15 p.m. Friday.


• A residential burglary in the 2800 block of Winnemucca Street in Silver Springs at 11:35 p.m. Friday.




Storey County


The following are some of the 27 calls to which deputies responded:


• A domestic dispute in the 400 block of Canyon Way in Lockwood at 8:38 a.m. Friday.


• A subject reported to the jail for a weekend commitment and tested positive for drug use at 8:56 p.m. Friday.


• A traffic stop in the 100 block of Avenue De La Couleurs in Lockwood at 4:59 a.m. Saturday. The driver was issued a citation.
