Tahoe mortgage broker earns special designation
Sharon Hudson, mortgage broker with Lake Tahoe Mortgage Corp., has passed the qualifying exams to earn the Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist Designation granted by the CMPS Institute at Ann Arbor, Mich., a training and certifying organization. CMPS designees can offer clients strategies that encompass mortgages, debt, home equity and real estate investment.

McKee sales manager joins EDAWN
The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) has announced that Jeff Brigger, a former district sales manager for McKee Foods Corp. in Reno, will be joining them as business-development manager.
He will manage key business prospects looking to relocate or expand in Northern Nevada, develop outreach with new companies that bring high-wage jobs and opportunities to the region, and establish relationships with key partners to help EDAWN grow.
