Jonni Hill/Appeal News Service Nevada Highway Patrol troopers and Douglas County Sheriff's deputies investigate a fatal accident at Highway 208 and Albite in Topaz Ranch Estates. One person was killed and two others were injured.
One person was killed in an accident on State Route 208 in Topaz Ranch Estates at about 2:20 p.m. Friday.
Two others sustained minor injuries.
Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chuck Allen confirmed one person was dead in the three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Albite Road and State Route 208, about two miles from Holbrook Junction in Douglas County.
Traffic in both directions was stopped.
