A funeral for Tamara Lee Sugden, 61, a 32-year Gardnerville resident, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home. A viewing will take place one hour prior to the funeral.
Mrs. Sugden died Oct. 8, 2006, in Gardnerville. She was born May 31, 1945, in Fullerton, Calif., to Robert and Eleanor Reid.
She married William F. Sugden on June 27, 1962.
Before moving to Gardnerville, Mrs. Sugden lived in Orange, Calif.
She graduated from Western High School in Buena Park, Calif.
She was an administrative assistant for Parole and Probation for the state of Nevada.
She was a member of the Valley Cruisers Car Club, and fostered rescued ex-racing greyhounds for Greyhounds Unlimited. She enjoyed spending time with her greyhounds Gracy, Amanda, Tilly and Danny Boy.
Among her survivors are her husband of Gardnerville; sons and daughters-in-law Robert Sean and Susan Sugden and William L. and Donna Sugden; brother, Robbie Reid of Walker, Calif.;, and three grandchildren.
Burial will take place at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
