Adolfo R. Selva

Adolfo R. Selva, 76, a 31-year Carson City resident, died Oct. 18, 2006, at his home.

Mr. Selva was born Oct. 14, 1930, in San Nicolas, Argentina, to Luis Selva and Eloisa Paiz.

He married Dominik Esther Selva on Sept. 30, 1955, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Selva lived at Zephyr Cove.

He completed graduate school in Argentina before immigrating to the United States in 1958 with his wife. They became U.S. citizens in 1996.

He was a chemist for Squibb Laboratories in Argentina and later worked for Harrah's Tahoe at South Lake Tahoe for 35 years.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; and daughter, Bonnie Michelle Selva of Oceanside, Calif.

A private family service will be held. Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
