Nevada Day Parade, 10 a.m. Route begins at William and Carson streets and ends at Stewart Street. Hot-air balloon lift-off is 8 a.m.

32nd Annual World Championship Rock Drilling Contest, 11:05 a.m. in the Carson Nugget west parking lot.

Nevada Day Steam Up, a steam locomotive will run at the museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The train ride costs $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children over 6.
