Schenzel, Johnson & Wales advance

Carson High graduate Jeremiah Schenzel scored two goals as the Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team beat Rivier 8-1 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference quarterfinal game on Sunday in East Providence, R.I.

Schenzel is a sophomore for the Division III school in Rhode Island. The Wildcats, coming off the first unbeaten regular season in conference history, improved to 14-4. The Wildcats will continue play in the conference semifinals today.
