A memorial service for Eugene "Gene" R. Walker, 61, a 20-year Carson City resident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St.
Mr. Walker died Aug. 25, 2006, at his home. He was born Aug. 30, 1944, in Boise to Winfred and Wilma Walker. He grew up in Santa Rosa, Calif.
He was a sheet metal journeyman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Among his survivors are his mother of Carson City; daughter Margi Walker of Petaluma, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law Bert and Nikki Walker; brother and sister-in-law Earl and Rebecca Walker of Carson City; four grandsons, one nephew and two grandnephews.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
