The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 56-year-old unemployed man from Carson City, was arrested at 4:06 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $237.


• A 29-year-old drywall installer from Carson City was arrested at 8:30 p.m. on Lepire Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• Jon Gomez, 47, a painter from Carson City, was arrested at 4:54 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of North Stewart Street on suspicion of felony probation violation, possession of a controlled substance and eight counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.


• Craig McDonald, 54, of Carson City, was arrested at 5:43 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of North Stewart Street on suspicion of felony probation violation and misdemeanor destruction of property. No bail was set.


The following are some of the 147 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Welfare check in the 400 block of Simone Avenue at 2:38 a.m.


• Accident at Robinson Street and Saliman Road at 7:42 a.m.


• A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 600 block of Elaine Street at 9:47 a.m.


• A woman reported at 12:17 p.m. her purse was stolen from the 2700 block of Menlo Drive.


• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 12:21 p.m.


• Graffiti report in the 3000 block of Conestoga Drive at 2:06 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the 102 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Accident on Campbell Lane in Mason Valley at 5:31 a.m.


• Brush fire on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 8:47 a.m.


• Accident on Nevada Avenue in Silver Springs at 9:18 a.m.


• Accident on River Village Circle in Dayton at 12:49 p.m.


• Brush fire on Farm District Road in Fernley at 3:20 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Silver Springs at 7:18 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• A disabled-vehicle report on North C Street at 3:51 p.m.


• Battery report on South C Street at 9:59 p.m.


Court wrap


The following people appeared in Carson City District Court on Tuesday before Judge Bill Maddox:


• A bench warrant was issued for Christopher Scott Bowers, 18, for failing to appear on a charge of felony conspiracy to contribute to the delinquency of a minor.


• Joshua Nathaniel Burke, 26, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. He will be sentenced on Nov. 14.


• Diego Daniel Escobedo, 18, pleaded guilty to burglary. He will be sentenced Oct. 31.


• Ramiro Garcia-Gonzalez, 19, pleaded guilty to burglary. He will be sentenced on Oct. 31.


• Carol Ann Kam, 24, was sentenced to six months in the Carson City Jail and three years probation on a charge of conspiracy to negotiate document of title with intent to defraud.


• Kyle Wayne McClelland, 20, was given a suspended sentence of six months in jail and three years probation on a charge gross-misdemeanor attempted theft.


• Ricky Dean Scheffleman, 45, pleaded not guilty to a charge of indecent exposure, and a trial date of Oct. 30 was confirmed. Scheffleman allegedly touched himself in front of a store clerk.
