George Marzoline, 81, a Carson City resident, died March 29, 2007.
Mr. Marzoline was born March 9, 1926, in Oakland, Calif., to Aurelio and Rose Marzoline.
He married Alice JoAnn Willimson on July 24, 1970.
He was a 60-year member of the Glaziers Architectural Metal and Glass Workers Union Local 169, and worked as a journeyman glazer.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a lifelong Democrat.
He enjoyed woodworking, photography, music, big keno and spending time with his family and dogs Bella and Buttons. He was a fan of the Oakland Raiders and the UC Cal Bears.
He was preceded in death by brothers Albert and Ernest Marzoline and sisters Claire Stockinger and Mary Wilson.
Among his survivors are his wife; daughters Barbara Jean Thompson and Deborah Renee Marzoline, both of Carson City, Robin Michelle Viers of Reno and Marie Alena Flock of Pullman, Wash.; son Robert Michael Ceremello of Clovis, Calif.,; brothers Louis Marzoline of San Leandro, Calif., James Marzoline of Hayward, Calif., and Gilbert Marzoline of Las Vegas; sister Eleanor Hutzler of Carson City; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six nieces and nine nephews.
