Just when you thought baseball was over, Little League's fall ball registration is now available at www.carsoncitylittleleague.org.

This is a noncompetitive, instructional league to prepare the kids for the next level of play.

The league also need volunteers to help with coaching, score keeping and umpiring. Because Pop Warner Football plays at Governor's Field, all fall Little League games will be played at the beautiful Edmonds Sport Complex.

The local freshman football players are holding a car wash, and you can help by driving down, getting your car clean and tipping them a few dollars.

Bring your work vehicle, tell your friends and neighbors. The boys are ready to wash those vehicles.

The Saint Benedict Society of Corpus Christi is hosting its 11th annual Ice Cream Social.

This is a great event for young and old alike. The fun will begin with delicious food, yummy ice cream, games, prizes and raffles for all ages. Bingo will be offered for the adults.

The highlight of the event is the cash drawing. Three lucky winners will receive a portion of the cash prize.

All proceeds benefit the building fund. Be sure to bring your family and friends.

The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a charity golf tournament, and everyone is invited to play at beautiful Thunder Canyon.

This golf course is always a challenge. There will be lots of food and prizes.

Get your four-man scramble and submit your own team, or they can hook you up with other pros - just like you.

The Brewery Arts Center's 15th annual beer tasting will kick off the 2007 Jazz and Beyond festival with more than 15 microbrews.

Enjoy the many varieties of microbrews on tap like Ruby Mountain Wheat, Fat Tire Amber Ale, while listening to great jazz with the Mile High Jazz Band, Johnny Hamlin Trio, Cherry Poppin Daddies, and more.
