Fritz Bongers

Fritz Bongers, 82, a 37 year resident of Carson City, died December 7, 2007, at his home in Carson City.

Fritz was born January 31, 1925 in Koln, Germany and moved to Long Island, N.Y. in 1950. He then moved to Carson City in 1970 where he worked for Lift Engineering until 1990.

Fritz was the youngest of eight children and is survived by his sister Carolla, 91, of Millsboro, Del. and his brother Valentine, 85, of Koln, Germany. Also among his survivors are his wife, Lang, daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Richard Gunkel, their two sons, Matthew and Maxwell, and daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Peter Earle and their three children, Steven, Terryn and Jaden

A memorial service will be held at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City on Saturday, December 15 at 1:00 p.m.
