Comstockers Claim Duel Championships

For the first time in Virginia City Middle School history, the Comstockers' sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade basketball teams claimed duel titles in the Sagebrush League Championships.

VCMS hosted the tournament on Saturday. The sixth- and seventh-grade teams went 12-1 in the regular season and subsequently avenged their only losses. Their opponents included Dayton, Yerington, Smith Valley, Coleville, Hawthorne, Schurz, and St. Theresa.
