Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 37-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:47 p.m. on Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny. He was intoxicated when he allegedly tried to steal a bottle of vodka but it slipped out of his pants during his getaway, according to the report. Bail was set at $1,132.

• A 44-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 1:35 p.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of failure to appear on a DUI charge and possession of marijuana pipe. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Coroner call at 11:28 a.m. on East Fifth Street.

• Motorcycle accident involving a man who had just gotten a ticket at 4:44 p.m. on Russell Way.

• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 4:53 p.m.

• A woman reported her ex-boyfriend, against whom she has a restraining order, stole her dog from her Bunch Way home sometime before 5:56 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• A woman on Emigrant Way in Fernley reported that someone left big rocks in all over her yard injuring her cars at 12:44 p.m.

• A man reported at 1:33 p.m. that someone has been using his credit card to obtain AOL service.

• Arrest on Highway 50 East at 8:20 p.m. in Silver Springs.

• Report of Santa being stolen from a door on Mallard Way in Fernley at 8:51 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Accident on Interstate 80 near exit 32 at 5:17 p.m.

• Report of someone target practicing within 400 feet of a Willie Way resident at 3:09 p.m.
