Offsite Data Depot, a record storage company in Carson City, has been designated by state officials as an approved records center for state and local governments.


The company operates a secure climate controlled 12,000 square-foot facility near the Carson City airport located at 4034 Technology Way.


The facility supplements the records and archives building and provide additional storage space for all government agencies. The facility is HIPAA, GLBA and SOX compliant as well.


The state of the art facility can hold upward of 70,000 boxes with each box being barcoded for future retrieval. The goal is to help reduce costs and provide a better solution for storing vital records.


Bank to offer remote deposit over the Internet


Qualified business customers of Carson River Community Bank can now make check deposits directly from their office using remote deposit. The Internet-based service is one of several new products and services recently introduced by the bank.


Remote deposit is the deposit of a check into a bank account from an office or other "remote" location. The depositor scans a digital image of the check into a computer and then transmits that image to the bank.


ACH origination is another recent addition to the products and services offered by Carson River Community Bank. ACH services available include direct deposit payroll, electronic funds transfer, and automated online bill payment. Courier service is also available.

NNDA breakfast slated for Jan. 23


Northern Nevada Development Authority will hold a membership breakfast Jan. 23 at the Dayton Valley Country Club, 101 Palmer Dr. in Dayton. Doors open at 7 a.m. with breakfast served at 7:30 a.m. and the program beginning at 7:45 a.m. The cost is $20 for NNDA members; $30 for non-members or at the door.
