A memorial service for June Herald, 83, a resident of Lakeport, Calif., will be 2-5 p.m. June 3 at the Lucerne Senior Center in Lucerne, Calif.
Mrs. Herald died Dec. 29, 2006, in Upper Lake, Calif.
She lived in Carson City for 15 years in the 1970s and '80s. She enjoyed her retirement, poker and gardening.
She was preceded in death by brothers Hartwell, Alton and Dean Kyle; first husband, Homer J. Powell; second husband, Donald Herald, and daughter Margo Jennings.
Among her survivors are her brothers Jack and Aubrey Kyle; sons James and Mark Powell; daughter Melannie Thomas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Lake County or the Lucerne Senior Center.
Jones Mortuary in Lakeport, Calif., is in charge of arrangements.
