Barbara K. Snyder, 77, a three-year Dayton resident, died June 6, 2006.
Mrs. Snyder was born Jan. 14, 1929, in Redwood City, Calif., to Dwight and Lena Tracy.
Before moving to Nevada, Mrs. Snyder lived in the San Diego area.
She was a bookkeeper and a tax preparer. She enjoyed reading, gardening, the outdoors, the beach, and cheering on the Padres.
She was preceded in death by husband, William H. Snyder and son Richard A. Knighton.
Among her survivors are her sons David and Daniel Knighton, both of San Diego; daughters and sons-in-law April and Jerry Sheeran of Norco, Calif., and Robin and Bruce Ferguson of Dayton; sisters Beverly Westphal and Diane Gibson, both of Lakeport, Calif., and Dorothy Tracy of Ukiah, Calif.; brother Dwight Tracy of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
