Elenere A. Amidon

Elenere A. Amidon, 84, a Carson City resident since 1979, died Dec. 30, 2006, in Carson City.

Mrs. Amidon was born Feb. 5, 1922, in St. Louis to John Howk.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Amidon lived in San Gabriel, Calif., for many years.

She worked as an engineering technician for the U.S. Geological Survey before retiring.

She belonged to the Methodist church and was active in the Airstreamers Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, and husband, Clarence R. Amidon.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
