A memorial service for Michael K. Angell, 43, a five-year-resident of Stagecoach and 40-year Northern Nevada resident, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel. Mr. Angell died Jan. 5 in Stagecoach.

He was born Feb. 26, 1963, in Meade, Kan. He married Sonya Angell on June 22, 2001, in Silver Springs.

Angell was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He received his brown belt in karate, and enjoyed hiking and spending time with his children and dog, Ralph.

Among his survivors are his parents, Norman and Jayne Angell of Silver Springs; wife of Stagecoach; son Michael Martinez of Wichita, Kan.; daughters Krystal Preston of Fallon and Jamie Angell, Lani Angell and Laura Rager, all of Stagecoach; sisters Deborah Avery of Battle Ground, Wash., Deidre Blackburn of The Woodlands, Texas, Jan Locquiao of Fallon and Jill Anderson of Washougal, Wash.; brother, Eddie Doyle of California; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
