Margaret Locille Harris, 92, a three-year Gardnerville resident, died Jan. 2, 2007, at Evergreen Rehabilitation Center in Gardnerville.
Ms. Harris was born Feb. 5, 1914, in Los Angeles, to Andrew Hunter Adams and Ira Adams.
Before moving to Gardnerville, Ms. Harris lived in San Bernardino, Calif., for more than 50 years.
She was a high school and dental school graduate.
She was a dental assistant in Hollywood and San Bernardino for many years, and a hospital volunteer.
Among her survivors are her sons John Harris of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Jeff Harris of Gardnerville; granddaughters Shawn Glasser of Santa Monica, Calif., and Caitlin Harris of Sydney, Australia; grandson, Mathew Harris of Santa Barbara, three nieces; and three nephews.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory. At Ms. Harris' request, no services will be held.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
