Police seek suspect in morning bank robbery

Police are looking for the suspect in an 11:45 a.m. robbery this morning of the U.S. Bank on Kietzke Lane in South Reno.

The suspect is described as an Asian male in his mid-20s, wearing a multi-colored knit hat with flaps that cover the ears that has snowflakes on it and a puffy black jacket.

He allegedly gave the teller a note that stated he had a gun and asked for all her money. No weapon was seen during the robbery. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the area on foot.

He was last seen walking eastbound on Kietzke Lane.

The Reno Police Department is asking anyone that has information on this crime call Reno Police Detectives at 334-2115 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
