Despite losing its last game in round robin play to Sparks Centennial on Thursday, the Carson American 9-10-year-old all-stars still advanced to the single elimination quarterfinals in the Little League district tournament.
Carson American will play at 5:30 p.m. today against Carson Valley at the Ranchos Aspen Park in Gardnerville.
