John Hallet Roberts, 91, of Yerington, died July 6, 2007, at Renown Medical Center in Reno.
He was born May 4, 1916, to E.W. and Mammie Ida Weston in Libby Township, Minn. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked for many years as a supervisor for NCR.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Louise.
Among his survivors are his sons John K. Roberts of Abington, Va., and Donald J. Roberts of Fresno, Calif.; daughter, Shirley A. Cloe of Renton, Wash.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation was under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington. Inurnment will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley alongside his wife.
