The Carson 13-year-old all-star baseball team was eliminated from the State Babe Ruth Tournament on Tuesday in an 11-1 loss to South Reno at Fallon.
South Reno broke the game open with seven runs in the fourth inning to take an 11-0 lead. Drew Moreland hit an RBI single to provide Carson's only run in the fifth.
Brock Pradere went 2-for-3 and Seth Rojas, Jace Carlson and Carter Nuckolls all added a hit for Carson (2-2).
Carson Manager Steve Pradere said he was proud of "what a great jobb all the kids did" in the tournament. "They were a really strong defensive team," Pradere said.
