Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 37-year-old salesman from Dayton was arrested at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $971.

• A 20-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 1:11 a.m. Tuesday at Northgate Lane and College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, minor consuming, having an open container of alcohol in vehicle, driving without a license, driving without insurance and failing to obey a traffic control device. Bail was set at $2,557.

• A 50-year-old unemployed Carson City woman was arrested at 8:20 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Arrowhead Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to maintain a single lane and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Bail was set at $1,426.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Battery report in the 4700 block of South Carson Street at 12:10 a.m.

• Embezzlement report in the 2700 block of Highway 50 East at 5:27 a.m.

• Accident at College Parkway and Research Way at 7:57 a.m.

• Fraud reports on Highway 50 East and South Carson Street.

• Accident at Airport Road and Sherman Lane at 12:39 p.m.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 3:59 p.m.

• Petty larceny reports on Conestoga and Arrowhead drives.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Shoplifting report in the 1400 block of Highway 95 Alternate at 12:53 a.m. in Fernley. A felony arrest ws made.

• Misdemeanor arrest South Main Street in Yerington at 4:42 p.m.

• A couple from Silver Springs called to report the wife lost her purse when she left it on a bench in Wal-Mart and the husband had lost his wallet on a different day.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Dayton Valley Road at 7:58 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest following a reported fight on South Street in Yerington at 9:27 p.m.
