Rodolfo Infante, 86, a 12-year Minden resident, died July 9, 2007, in Gardnerville.

He was born Feb. 23, 1921, in Bronsville, Texas, to Filomeno Infante and Idenfonsa Garcia. He was married to Esther Infante. Prior to moving to Minden, Mr. Infante lived in Bishop, Calif.

He worked in Disneyland and remembered having lunch with Walt Disney. He worked as a cement mason and was part owner of Kustom Concrete. He was in the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1941-42 and was honorably discharged in Powell, Wyo. He was a member of the Cement Masons for 57 years in Southern California.

Mr. Infante was preceded in death by his son Robert Infante on Nov. 24, 1966, and two wives, Amelia and Edith.

Among his survivors are his wife of Minden; daughters, Delia Wolfe and Dolores Navorro; sons, Fred and Paul Infante; sisters, Lydia Gutierrez, Laudelina Lopez, Elida Infante and Eunice Rodriquez; brother Lorenzo Infante; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation was held at FitzHenry's Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to Relay for Life.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
