Viola Kelly, a Gardnerville resident for the past six years, died May 17, 2007, at Evergreen Care Center. She was born March 3, 1915, in Bartlesville, Okla., to Ed and Luaura Dale Smith.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Bellflower, Calif.
She married Roy Kelly on Dec. 14, 1936, in Iola, Kan.
Mrs. Kelly was a housewife. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gambling and traveling,
She was preceded in death by her husband and grandson Mark.
Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Carol Kelly.
Burial will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
