The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 28-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 1:55 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Jackson Way on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $1,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 5:04 a.m.

• Battery report in the 2000 block of North Carson Street at 11:12 a.m.

• Hit-and-run accident on Palo Verde Drive at 4:52 p.m.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Arrest on Farm District Road in Fernley at 1:23 p.m.

• Arrest on Rio Vista Drive in Mason Valley at 7:43 a.m.

• A black Volvo "ran over a fire hydrant," in the 4000 block of West Main Street in Fernley at 10:04 a.m.

• Accident on Breakwater Drive in Dayton at 2:40 p.m.

• Arrest on Highway 50 East in Mark Twain at 5:21 p.m.

• Battery report on Snowberry Street in Silver Springs at 6:12 p.m.

• Arrest on Jenny's Lane at 10:03 p.m.

• Employees of Squeeze Play in Mound House detained a man who stole a woman's purse at 11:01 p.m.
